A day with reindeer herders
Experience the work of reindeer herder and winter fishing on the same day!
Your day starts early in the morning. We’ll pick you up from Ivalo, such as from your hotel, and drive by car to the starting point of the activity. From there, we continue by snowmobile to the reindeer herd which consists of hundreds of reindeer. After feeding, we head to a nearby lake where you can try traditional fishing methods, such as checking fishing nets and ice fishing. A warm traditional Sami hut awaits nearby, where we’ll serve lunch.

For this evening adventure, we’ll take you to reindeer fence where is about ten reindeer to seek for the northern lights. There is also a warm hut next to the fence, where you can relax, fry sausages, and enjoy hot berry juice while waiting for the Northern Lights to appear.
Nightless night fishing trip
Experience the magic of the Nightless Night with a fishing trip to a wilderness lake. The activity is available from May to August when the sun is up 24 hours in Lapland. In this activity, you can try spin fishing and fry sausages and enjoy hot drinks at the open fire. The entire activity, including travel, lasts about four hours and starts late in the evening, continuing through midnight.
