Reindeer Visit
For this day adventure, we welcome you to our reindeer fence to visit the reindeer, grill sausages, and enjoy hot berry juice in the traditional hut in the fence. You will meet and feed our home reindeer, who stay in the enclosure to survive the winter. We’ll also share insights about reindeer herding and local culture. This activity is located next to Ivalo Airport, making it possible to enjoy a short visit before your flight!
VISIT DETAILS
BOOKABLE & DURATION
Every day in December from 10 AM to 11 AM and 1 PM to 2 PM. Duration is one hour.
LOCATION & TRANSPORT
The activity is located about 1 kilometer from Ivalo Airport and 10 kilometers from the center of Ivalo, from where transport can be arranged (max. eight people).
GROUP SIZE
Two to eight people. The maximum group size is 20 people, if no transportation is needed. For large groups, please contact us in advance by email.
*There is no minimum group size for private visits.
WEATHER LIMIT AND CLOTHING
The weather limit for this activity is -25 degrees. This outdoor activity require warm clothes and good, warm shoes. It is possible to rent clothes through us by contacting in advance.
SERVING
Homemade hot berry juice and sausage. The sausage is also available in vegan.
PRICE
95 euros per person. Private visit is 600 euros total. Private visits can be arranged by contacting us in advance via email.
